What does the Scripture promise will give you an opportunity for your testimony?

It will lead to an opportunity for your testimony. Luke‬ ‭21‬:‭13‬

Your testimony, the story of how the Lord saved you personally, is a great witness for Christ. Paul tells his testimony twice in the book of Acts. Just as Paul was brought before kings and governors for Jesus’ name sake, here in Luke we see that when we are persecuted it will lead to an opportunity for our testimony too.

We don’t need to fear persecution for the gospel’s sake. Persecution is a promise. Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted -2 Tim 3:12. Jesus said, “You will be hated by all because of My name.” These are not verses you typically see on those “Promises of God” type calendars, but they are promises nonetheless.

Don’t be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you…as though some strange thing were happening to you; but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing….

If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. Make sure that none of you suffers as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a troublesome meddler; but if anyone suffers as a Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to glorify God in this name. — 1 Peter 4:12-16
